Also, fuck buying gold. Ratio is wayyyy in silvers favor.

Maybe now. But gold has out preformed silver for quite some time now.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Physical reality can only be distorted for so long. Silver has way more uses and there is less of it above ground than gold. For any reason to buy gold, silver is better buy. Anyone can look at a chart and cherry pick. Right now silver is best investment available.

I totally get that, and I own a lot of silver myself, but it is crazy how much gold has out performed it. Bitcoin has blown both metals out of the water which is something to consider as well.

I wanted to pick up a few pounds of silver with an eye toward the ratio ... But about April 2011, the price of silver was around $48/oz and gold was atound $1700/oz. I decided to stick with gold and wait for the silver price to come down before buying in. Now silver is about $32/oz and gold $3150/oz.

Too much price suppression by the banksters... I have no idea when silver finally launches toward it's historic gold/silver ratio, probably after we free ourselves from the central banks.

If you're pricing in dollars you should keep your money in the market. If you're buying PM's to take your wealth off the table, then silver is the better play.

Nice example, except right now, silver is extremely cheap compared to gold. Gold at all-time high and silver nowhere near it. Buy gold? DERP

Great silver

SD Bullion, and Monument Metals, have had good pricing for purchases, I do buy some silver and odd currency from my local shop to keep a relationship. If looking for more rare coins I use Ampex, they seem to have higher prices on bullion, but have a wider selection of coins.

Go to a coin dealer. Better premiums.

If online is a must, then everyone has their own good deals.

What are you looking to buy? Generic 1,10,100,1000oz, gov mint? How much? These questions answers will tell you where to go.

I use Camino Coin. Out of California and the service is great. Box is hand delivered by the mailman and you have to sign for it.

I've used APMEX since 2009. Very happy with their service.

Apmex is overpriced. There is nothing on there that can't be found significantly cheaper elsewhere. That being said, I've bought from them, not in a long time though.

TBH, I haven't bought from them in 10 years. Agree, price around before pulling the trigger.

What I especially liked about APMEX when I ordered .9999 Gold Buffalos, they came in their original US Mint packaging... Each coin still individually sealed in 20 coin sheets ... all brilliant uncirculated and ungraded. I've been tempted to get them graded.

I've been using moneymetals.com for several years. They've been good.
