Maybe now. But gold has out preformed silver for quite some time now.

I wanted to pick up a few pounds of silver with an eye toward the ratio ... But about April 2011, the price of silver was around $48/oz and gold was atound $1700/oz. I decided to stick with gold and wait for the silver price to come down before buying in. Now silver is about $32/oz and gold $3150/oz.

Too much price suppression by the banksters... I have no idea when silver finally launches toward it's historic gold/silver ratio, probably after we free ourselves from the central banks.

Apmex is overpriced. There is nothing on there that can't be found significantly cheaper elsewhere. That being said, I've bought from them, not in a long time though.

Online shippers use fake buisness names. SD billions ships labeled as "Stone and Decor LLC" or something, postman thinks you like rocks. Another ships labeled as autoparts. Never had one with a real name except apmex and that came in a armored courier van complete with an openly carrying courier.

I have bought and held, never sold. I have thought about the day that I decide to sell. I was thinking I'd sell locally and only one coin at a time to try to avoid the Federal tax of 28% on gains.

I doubt I'll ever sell. My beneficiaries will benefit, they are 100% vested if they inherit collectibles or precious metals and will avoid the gains tax that I will have to pay if I sell.
