I am not seeing it as needing a surplus for trade. Cambodia and Vietnan put 90ish percent tariff on anything made in the US that gets imported into their tiny little shit boxes.

I'd like to see that corrected. Where they drop their 90% BS to something in the realm of 5%

You shouldn't ever take anything Trump says literally, he is asking for something crazy that he almost certainly doesn't expect to get. It is a negotiation tactic.

This is the one thing I think he is really good at, and the one point of his presidency I am actually pretty positive on.
