Everyone is going nuts on this project, and Intel has quietly said they aren't going to do shit unless they need to.

This interchange was under construction for decades, then immediately started up again after that was finished because what the state did was obsolete years before it was started. Now, it's going to start again.

161/270 is the never-ending construction project.

Modern fabs are decently automated. I suspect there would be more contract maintenance people and contract support people there than actual Intel employees, similar to how Honda works here.

I've met plenty of people who have worked AT the Honda plant, but very few people that have worked FOR Honda.

Good point. The biggest thing out at Honda is the assembly line plant but there is also an R&D lab there. Everyone I know who has been through Honda is a contractor.

Yeah, the R&D is in Raymond. I get calls all the time for that place, they pay shit and expect your undying loyalty.

You want to see demanded respect and loyalty? Head over the AEP. Worst 2 months of my life. It's a constant snitch system and fuck over playground. Think middle school but people lose their jobs over the smallest of shit. The only reason I kept going back was the pay but I'll never walk in there again.
