Not to mention that town is basically in the forbidden zone where most of the residents lives around industrial waste, shut mines, and meth. stupidbird is right. More of these are going to happen before someone decides to fix the problem.
I always ask the question "is it bad enough yet?"
Not until thousands die, and even then...if the fines are less than the costs to maintain...
We already know that even after hundreds of millions of people are murdered or maimed by (((industry))), no one is held accountable and few protest in anger.
