I'm sure you're all aware of the latest so I won't bother getting into it here. (Apologies for the Reddit link.) I cancelled my account and joined Express VPN for a 30-day trial. The Linux setup is via command line which is easy enough. The connections are also handled via command line - at least as far as I can tell. I've only been poking around on it for an hour.

My browser of choice, Iridium, works just fine. I just tried to use Dissenter and failed spectacularly. I'll dig into it later.
I also just downloaded and tried Firefox, which also failed spectacularly. I'm not going to bother troubleshooting FF because I don't intend on using it. I only mention it here because some of you might use it and I wonder what your experience is.

I haven't tried streaming or video sites like YouTube or the others yet, either.
More to come.

EDIT: Thanks for the Achive link.

I got rid of PIA a while ago. I figure the best way to go is rotate through some of them. I just go with monthly myself as some people got screwed on 2 years alone with PIA (VPN) since they went with a 3 year plan a year before this all happened from what I saw myself.

I've used ExpressVPN (It's decent at least if not better than decent, but I wanted to try PIA and I moved on a few months ago myself) and both PIA VPN, but right now I'm using something else myself currently.

There's 10s if not 100s of them and many do intrusive type stuff. You have to find the list of like 25 that do none of this and just find out what works for you and don't be scared to try others with some research first and of course if that VPN works for you.

I figure never do more than a year at a time myself because at worse I'll probably get screwed out of 7 months not another 24 if I did a 3 year plan or 31 months in total at that point out of 36 (3 years).
