I'm ok without having video, text takes very little bandwidth. Most of this data processing is fueled by financial transactions, online video, crypto NFTs, and spying on the population. Big tech is in charge and they want us to subsidize all this shit on their behalf so they can keep their profits sky high.
These assholes have all the money they could ever want, but they want more, and it's all the billionaires fault, not the trillionaires.
All the heat these tech assholes generate could be stored in a molten salt heat battery and that could power turbines, reducing their energy footprint. But no, we need to pay more for gasoline for their convenience.
