This project is an independent fork of Firefox, with the primary goals of privacy, security and user freedom.

LibreWolf is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through our privacy and security oriented settings and patches. LibreWolf also aims to remove all the telemetry, data collection and annoyances, as well as disabling anti-freedom features like DRM.

The fact that PM was forked from an older version is one of its main draws for me; less effort to revert the UI style to a classic browsing experience. Legacy addons still work with it, and many modern ones will too if you try giving exception flags.

Agree about slower rendering, but it's negligable and a lot of it comes from my script/ad blockers. No idea about any furry drama and don't really care, same with coding ethics.

I'll still give Libre Fox a go and see if it's possible to make the UI classic, which is priority #1 for me. Chrome's "minimalist" UI was retarded and its influence been a blight on modern design philosophy.
