Phase 1: lure fools with low price, all kinds of 'benefits, privilege' to buy EV. Phase 2: when enough retards switch to EV and or you successfully ban combustion cars, rise price, remove all benefits and privilege.... fools don't have choice, you have his balls in hands. .... And kill switch too.

TL;DR this is logic, expected. There is simply not enough electricity for all cars, trucks, locomotives, tractors, etc. Especially without fossil fuel or nuclear energy.

PS. I don't have anything against EV, but this technology are not ready yet, at least not for such rushed implementation. Don't even want to talk how EV industry are actually harmful for planet.

I agree with you, but I’ll point out there is no such thing as fuel from fossils.

It is most likely a natural process from the Earth.

Hydrocarbons are produced by photosynthesis. Sun plus water plus co2.

Green, natural, renewable.

What people are generally oblivious to is that what we burn or the energy we extract from fuel is the hydrogen.

Hydrocarbons just store it easily and safely for us in an energy dense chemical matrix relatively easy to Crack

I think about retards which will pay over $20k for new batteries for car which are about $15k worth. There is no free lunch, you will pay soon or latter, with interest.

Other than Nissans specifically, and the rate one-off defect, I've never even heard of anyone having to replace their battery ... even after 200,000 miles.

When they say EV batteries only last so long they don't mean the battery stops working. They mean that's the point when it's down to 70% of it's original capacity. An EV with 300-Mike range would still have 210-mile range when its batteries were "dead."

Since mid-size electric sedans can get 4-5 miles per kWh if you don't drive like an idiot, electricity will have to cost more than $1 per kWh before it costs more than driving a 30 mpg sedan, and it will have to cost $2 before it costs more than driving a 15 mpg truck. And that all assumes you're buying your electricity. If you were smart you made the capital investment in energy independence and generate your own.

At least where I'm at, solar panel installation is a huge racket. The cheapest price I was quoted for installing a 10 kW system was over $50K. I'd likely never break even on the cost of electricity.

If I could install my own setup, it would definitely be worth it, but that's a little beyond my expertise.

The article said Germany is discussing charging 1.10 Euros per kilowatt. That's (currently) $1.11 per kilowatt.

Europe buys more than a third of all Electric Vehicles IN THE WORLD. They buy 5x to 6x the number of EVs as the USA. IF EUROPE quits buying EVs, the Western EV is effectively dead. Like, done.

You forget that government will start to tax 'energy independent' people. Why you think that government will miss this opportunity? In fact this is very clever. Sell to people gear ( and receive good money from bribe... mean "funds" from lobbyist which manufacture this gear ) , give them some tax benefits, then squeeze his balls when time come. So you will waste much less money to invest in new energy plants, and in same time people will pay taxes and fill your pockets... mean budget.

I think it's California, if you get solar and/or battery, you have to grid tie to get to be up to code. However, they have to be able to take over control, and in an "emergency" they can force the inverter to feed the grid, not your house.

I think about taxes. You buy with your money gear ( and pay zillion taxes ), you maintain it using your own time and work, you pay for repairs, yet government consider that you own some money to his piggy bank.
Confiscation is something different, government in any moment can seize whatever they want, not only in US. Entire world work in this way. For example if food shortage continue, government will start to seize food from farmers and pay them minimal price or give them useless piece of paper.... and demand them to pay taxes, of course. Same is with water, so why electricity will have different treatment.

That's the idea.

Electric cars have nothing to do with "saving the environment", it's about FORCING people into electric cars and driving up the price of electricity, and it won't stop with EV's, those cars will drive up the price of the electricity in your home or business as well.

This about the wealthy, who can afford EV's the ability to travel, albeit not very far and always under the watchful eye of big brother who can shut off your glorified golf cart at will, but it's also about getting those who can't afford EV's into the communist dream - public transportation, because FUCK YOU PEONS, they will own you now.

As I've said before, once we give in and agree to the "globull warming" scam, it will never go away, they will always find a new excuse to throw more money at a fake problem...sound familiar? They will forever use the excuse that "just a little more money and we're going to slow down globull warming", just like "the covid" and masks, it's now the excuse for every situation, and it will be forever because the STUPID in society gave in and complied with the SCAM!
