The internet is not being deleted. Search Engines index the internet, they are not the internet.
He's right that google and Microsoft curate the internet to serve up specific results that they deem as "good." And there is a concerted effort to suppress wrong think. But the internet is not being deleted. If you have an IP/hostname, DNS services will find the address. Now, the insidious thing to do would be to remove DNS entries for "wrong think" websites (but there are ways around that such as your own DNS server with those entries, an old DNS server, a statis DNS server, etc.). I believe Australia was doing that. It's a great way to stop the masses from accessing a website because most people will not have the IP address of the DNS-Censored website sitting around.
Is there a way to download a list of hostname/IPs? I can do it manually for a list of hostnames but I might forget some.
There are private DNS servers and lists out there that you can subscribe to. And you can set your DNS server to whatever that server is.
