Gas motors last WAAAAAAAAY longer genius. Electric motors have a def lifespan and are not salvageable like gas car parts either. And with batteries its a function of time regardless of mileage. You can’t stick a Tesla in a garage and pull it out 20 years later whenever you feel like it. That’s if they don’t explode and burn the car down after locking you in lol. Shit my 2006 Ford Fusion has already lived the life of two electric cars and if I wanted to I could drive that bish another twenty until it rusts apart. When I see electric cars that go 500k miles like my POS Ford Ranger I paid like $12k for did then they won’t be a scam.
