There's a dirty secret with LEDs. If you run them on a circuit that has any adapter plugged in, a microwave, or anything that can dirty the power, their controllers burn out. This is why these "10,000 hour" LEDs don't last as long as incandescent bulbs yet cost 10x more. They cheap out on the circuitry. They are a total ripoff.

Also heat kills them as well as dirty power. They are only good in open sockets where heat can escape, not in globes or fixtures without circulation.
