"I don’t think there’s any reason people would buy an Intel processor after we [launch the Ryzen 3000 line]."

I'm lost myself on this stupidity at least for now unless there's something I don't know currently. AMD used to be huge in the gaming world to as well, but they don't overclock as well as the Intel CPUs do and/or don't have comparable single core speeds for the most part. Which is very important in the gaming world to many if not most gamers.

Intel:

i9-9900K - 8 cores that is known to overclock to 5.3 GHz or many people have been able to do so just fine.

i9-9900KS - 8 cores all at 5.0 GHz - Overclockable to 5.4 GHz or 5.5 Ghz (maybe) - at least 5.3 GHz if not slightly above that.

I'm not going to buy Intel this next time around. That's dropped off heavily for myself since I'm not into gaming as much as I was younger. I'm looking to buy the 12-core CPU or 8-core CPU at some point for 4k video editing and such. Which is apart of the Ryzen 3000 series line of CPUs.

Just lost why they'd think nobody would buy Intel CPUs when faster single core speeds have been huge at least in the past for gaming. They still are obviously to as well.

The Intel Management Engine IME created as a back door for the NSA might have something to do with it. AMD FOR LIFE! Fuck Intel!

I didn't even know that, but that was long ago anyways so I don't even know if people care / cared that much.

I'd have to guess they did it to AMD to as well, but I have no idea myself on that. Just a guess for now at least.

Well we know for sure they did it with Intel, and no evidence has emerged implicating AMD as far as I know. And we know the NSA has never stopped seeking backdoors in technology so I think we can assume it's only gotten more advanced since a few years ago. It's actually the reason I recent purchased an AMD ryzen myself.
