I think the microdots and refusal to print exactly the shade of money green are a gubment requirement. But HP still sucks. The 90s memory of them being the gold standard is just that - a memory that's gone forever.
Epson EcoTank printers rock. A) they go an amazingly long time on a tank fill, and B) they have no objections to third-party ink (really can't).
