Actually "make printing a subscription."

Fuck you HP for the arrogance to think you have the right to bind my rights to your whims. Make your product excel in utility and I'll use it, else I'll solve my needs elsewhere.

Be this guy: https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/abrcu/every_time_i_run_out_of_ink_i_just_buy_a_new/

Buys a new printer when it runs out of ink.

Side note, I had one of those Epson Ecotank and had to toss it. The pipes from the ink well to the print head can get clogged, making the printer worthless unless you know how to fix it.

I do and I've cleaned mine twice. Prints like brand new. It is more common with infrequent printing, which is unlikely to be the case if using a lot of ink is your problem. Best deterrent is to create a single page document with a colored box for each of the inks and print that at least once per month.

I print things like once every few months. I am back on a Canon cartridge. Once these retail cartridges I'll buy another refill kit.

Yeah, I have periods like that. It's an awkward spot that doesn't fit the EcoTank well. My wife shares this printer use with me and prints by the ream. I'd go broke were it not for ink by the bottle. I usually use Epson ink but this last set is off brand. Works fine, though.
