Roku now advertises in app when you watch live content. It makes your content smaller, muted it then plays the ad. You miss everything from your live content when this happens.
I refuse to use them.
DNS blocks are a thing. I’ll find my list and post it.
They do it in app and bypass DNS/proxy/etc using all kinds of tricks. I gave up bothering to use their shit and having to fight them every time they change something.
I know I can get around it but I rather just hook a PC up and tell them to fuck off.
So in addition to the ads on the live content you get more ads from Roku? That's messed up. I heard something about home screen ads, but I also heard there is a "secret menu" that can be accessed to remove them.
