Then quit arguing with me about it just because you are so proud that you figured out how to get a SearX instance going. I'm warning people that there are only 3 real alternatives to corporate search. If you stand in the way of that message, you are no better than Torba at Gab.

Yes, show your friends how dense you are. Everyone please read the full thread.

Well I did read the full thread and I setup the searx instance. I also have been looking at perhaps setting up an actual search engine.

However I've never heard of the three that you mentioned earlier. I'll look into them but as of the moment I've never heard of them. So I'd be curious why you believe they are the only 3 options.

Hi nice to meet you I'm the guy that originally started poal.co and thats why he pinged me.

You are the first to assume things and believe them.

did setup that instance, that's why I pinged him.

I'm warning people that there are only 3 real alternatives to corporate search.

So why don't you simply post in this sub to introduce these 3 "real" search engine alternatives (with a full description), instead of wasting your time arguing about an anti-tracking service we propose for free?

I will, since you've demonstrated a remarkable false sense of security with your SearX comments. Hopefully it has not spread to others.

There's no false sense of security, just you trying to put words in people's mouth.

I'm gonna repeat it again, searx is used to prevent search engines it fetches results from from tracking users.
