Well, what I want to know about the topic is about zero, so anything more than that is too much. It seems like something ren-fair retards would obsess over. It's a tool. Use it. That's it. Nobody obsesses about their hammer, or their screwdrivers.

You buy a tool, do you go to harbor freight and buy some cheap china-made shit that's probably going to break on you? Or do you want something made by white people who care about quality?
I haven't had stuff from Harbor Freight break any faster than shit from Home Depot or Lowe's. Shit like SnapOn is far too expensive for what it is, even if it does last longer it's not worth the extra expense.

to each their own. I enjoy the learning. Why a straight-handled axe vs a clawed one? Why hickory vs. poplar? What difference does the head make for the different functions of the tool?
