Well, unless dad, there, is making over $250k, she'll be happy struggling to pay the bills. This isn't a 1955 any more. The 2 income fam isn't a choice of career over family. It's a choice between a family living in a house or a trailer.

OP's point is feminist brain washing tells girls you only have value as a wage slave while someone else raises your children. That being a wife and mother is something to do after having a career or something you don't need, kids are a burden etc

2nd wave feminism of the 70's taught those things. In a time where "working mother" was optional. Where it was a choice and feminists wanted you to choose joining the workforce to keep labor costs low.

Today, it's not an option. Women, mothers, must work to make ends meet. Feminism today is about destroying the differences between men and women. Today's feminist says "Men can have babies, and women can fight wars. " Where men used to be called "male chauvinist pigs" for wanting women to stay home, we now get called "toxic masculine bigots" for suggesting that trannies shouldn't play in women's sports.

No, it's still an option for some.. You just learn to get by with less material goods, move to an area that can stretch one paycheck, be self sustaining. For ex I garden and can so I don't waste time or money on fruit and veg. I'm learning to sew so I can take care of my clothes and fix it if something rips.

Why do you retRds keep harping on about muh second wave feminism? The first wave was toxic and subversive too. And now we are past the third wave. We live in post feminism world which is clearly a dystopia

I grew up in a big family on $30K a year in household income. I make 5X that a year with a much smaller family and we’re not happier because we can go out to eat more often or buy every piece of China shit toy.

You grew up when? The 70's? The 80?

1975 - $30k is 1985 - $60k is 1995 - $75k is 2005 - $90k is 2015 - $200k is 2021 - $350k today

Your 5 times isn't even half the standard of living from 1975.

And even at $150k, you shouldn't be buying China shit toys. And, is that $150k on two incomes? Cause $75k with even a small family is tough, so that stay at home mom thing won't do very well. If that's all your income, then you should be happy with stay at home mom, just like your dad was, making more than you, in his time.

I can’t level with you because you think making $30K/year in the 90s and 00s provides anything close to what I provide for my family.

Don't be jelly.

It just isn't 1955 any more. Women aren't choosing to work. They are expected to work and single worker fams are only an option for those with nice salaries and benies.

Seal the border and we might get back there, some day.

Hahahahaha You people are so transparent Go subvert elsewhere

At least you already have all the infrastructure after the first two. If he's not strapped in debt they are probably okay. You would basically have to work somewhere to get reasonable insurance though.
