Well fuck you can help me, my wife and son. We moved last February just as this scamdemic started and I've yet to be able to land a job. I have skills out my ass but nobody will hire me for some reason. Been borrowing money from family for a year now just to get by. Shit is fucked up. It's driving me crazy, not working. I had to move closer to my mother in law. My wifes family all live in Connecticut and we had to come here for now. Her mother isn't in great health and she wanted to be closer. I'm working on getting out to Idaho ASAP.

We just finished paying for 5 acres and we're living at my mother's house. We were in an RV and the code enforcement faggot found out. My mom is also selling her house but was holding out for me to be able to finish paying off my land. Then my son was born all at the same time. The only place for my wife and son was at her mother's in CT. I also have 5 Rottweilers because my dog got pregnant from a friend's dog while I was at work. We could only find homes for half of the litter and no shelters will take them, unless it's a kill shelter. We couldn't just let them go so we decided to keep them. So I'm in NJ with the dogs while the wife and son are at her mom's at this point. Sonic packed up all of my stuff and four of the dogs in my Grand Cherokee and drive up here to my land. I pitched a tent and lived like this for two months trying to find a job. At the same time while I was here I had to cut down trees and prep the land for a 12x40 foot shed that I am paying monthly for right now. I also had to come up on the weekend before I brought the dogs to build a kennel for them. So once the inside of the shed was finished, after getting all materials second hand and used/leftover materials, the wife and kid are here with me. We have propane heat and cooking and shower with a pump sprayer that I modified. We have a legit shower stall and bathe the boy in a baby tub for now. All the while I'm searching for work and battling random challenges along the way. It's been a fucking rough year. I appreciate everything I have but not finding work has been keeping me from taking the next steps. I applied to the gas station today, they just put a sign out, wish me luck haha. Don't know if I divulged too much but sometimes it's nice to just share your story, even if you're just internet strangers. Thanks for listening to my rant.

Have you tried going to your local Manpower or equivalent? Temp work. It's what I've done between jobs. You go sign up with them and then they place you wherever needs a temp at that time. Pretty good shot of work. If you're good, some place might keep you.

I finished 3 universities, pretty much top of my class, born and raised rich.

Expecting that people would beg me to work for them after finishing uni.

Long story short, I only found temporary jobs as literally every company I worked for was in The process of outsourcing to Romania, Argentina, India...

Meanwhile I was terrified of unemployment and its effects on my mental well being. Therefore I literally took anything that was available.

I did not want gaps on my cv and I worked a few months for scraps literally doing shit jobs and a few months getting an above average salary.

Still the unemployment months were exhausting to my mental health.

I recall wacthing paranoid movies all through the night, spending 6 hours at the gym, feeling ashamed to call my friends..

Also I am pretty sure I am the Diversity Hire in my company.

I signed that I am a trans gendered brown icelandong Muslim apache helicopter x. Noting down white would put me at eh back of the list.

Even though I am a med.

I am a harvard graduate with 2 master degrees , one MBA, a certificate ina counting and I make an average salary now.

handing people a heap of money can be a curse. it would be better to buy them a huge library of important books or build a gym for a small town / village... or a tractor / tools of life, etc... anything that promotes knowledge health fitness and the ability to make their own living... but i really don't think handing over cash is a good idea at all.

Never donate to charity’s ever. You want to help, go up to a homeless man and hand him $20. He might use it for drugs or alcohol so what. That’s $20 he didn’t have to steal. That’s $20 that 75% didn’t go to a middle executive in the charity to “cover” costs. Who knows maybe he’ll actually use it to buy food. I know if I where homeless and on the streets and someone walked up and handed me $20 I would be in heaven.
