I realize per bezmenov that's pretty much the goal, and though I've never been a huge trumper, I think he did an amazing job, and had the shit stolen from him. Now it seems like clown world is full steam ahead, and I barely want to discuss anything serious on here lately, just fuck around, but I guess it gives me some peace.

The problem is that so long as they have a thin veneer of legitimacy in their finances they're allowed to take bribes and do insider trading. Take this away and none of them would bother.

Another belief I'm starting to have is that the amount of privacy one should have should be inversely proportional to their distance to the legislative branch. You are a senator? Then better be able to tell the public where every single red cent in your bank account came from, which should be publicly visible.

Probably a lot of unintended consequences from both of my above suppositions though. I've not thought about them long.
