What exactly is Trump going to do that's ANY better than what's currently going on? Is it just misplaced hope and optimism or something? It makes no sense

Trump wasn't the best but yeah all it took was to give people just the slightest hint that he was actually working with their interests in mind. Almost every single politician these days is clearly only out for themselves or the party.
