Being a White male got me disqualified without any interview. Me and the only other guy.

[–] 2 pts

I've been called twice never even interviewed, just sent packing. Pretty sure if you're going to get selected and be white you have to look like a total faggot.

[–] 7 pts

How about don't. You don't know if their's an innocent who needs protection from an overzealous prosecutor and a biased court. For all you know, there could be a white man being railroaded all because he called a nigger a nigger twenty years ago.

[–] 2 pts

I was going to say the same. If you say you want a law and order country, why are you trying to avoid your responsibilities for fulfilling that outcome?

[–] 7 pts

Tell them as long as there are no jew lawyers, women judges, or nigger defendants you can be fair but otherwise you don't think you can be impartial....

[–] 5 pts

Act like your hard of hearing, and tell them you hate all the other races. Chances are the defendant isn't white.

[–] 2 pts

The hard-of-hearing aspect alone should be enough to justify a nullification! Thank you, great idea.

[–] 1 pt

I don't know what but this just cracked me up. :)

[–] 5 pts

I've gotten 3 or 4 of those the past couple years. I just throw them straight into the trash can.

What state do you live in? Not trying to dox. Feel free to pm me the answer if you're not willing to state it here. Thanks!!

[–] 3 pts

I live in the leftist hell hole of WA state. I have bought a home in TX though and I hope to move there soon.

One of the four season guys. Good for you getting out of there! They hate you and enjoy spending your money you work for.

[–] 2 pts

Dude, your situation is so similar to mine. DM me if you want.

[–] 2 pts

Are you going to continue to vote Democrat?

[–] 1 pt

Same for me except only twice. I just don't go and I've never heard a word about it.

[–] 3 pts

I regret that I ignored my one and only jury notification. Never heard another word about it.

If I get one again, I will go and see if I can be useful for jury nullification

[–] 3 pts

Mention pretty much anything about jury nullification will get you struck off for cause immediately.

Where I am (not in the US), you can get off if you are too far from the court (I'm just inside the radius), or if you work for a small business and your absence would cause significant issues for your employer.

[–] 3 pts

Ask questions like "is there going to be better evidence than just eye witnesses?" and state that you would hold out on voting guilty unless you are 100% sure of the guilt.

[–] 2 pts

Yeah, that will do it. They don't want people that can think. They want people they can show a show to and get them to agree with them.

A lot of "law" is "its not what happened, its what you can 'prove'" Without actual proof.

Maybe show up with a notepad and a pen. -They- Will not like that one bit.

[–] 1 pt

Great response. Tight and low-key.

Thanks!

[–] 3 pts

Easy. Just don't do it. Throw the letter in the trash. "Civic Duty" my ass. There is no actual law that requires you to do jury duty. They say it's illegal, but there is no law. The judge can charge you with contempt, which also isn't a law. It comes from the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (Rule 70). Not a law.

[–] 1 pt

Awesome! Have you ever personally been drawn for Jury Duty and actually done that yourself though? (Just throwing it in the trash)? If so, what state do you live in and what was the result?

[–] 2 pts

Have you ever personally been drawn for Jury Duty

Yes once about 4 years ago.

If so, what state do you live in and what was the result?

Michigan. Nothing happened.

I did the same with the census. Threw it in the trash.

[–] 1 pt

Awesome. Thank you for this response.

[–] 1 pt

Ugh, I threw the census shit in the trash and they just kept sending me letter after letter and bugging the shit out of me to do it. They finally just wore me the fuck out and I did it. I filled it out with a bunch of useless bullshit info that was completely inaccurate and then they sent me a thank you letter.

[–] 1 pt

I have ignored it I two states. Connecticut and Vermont. Nothing happened. I completely ignored it and tossed the letters and never heard another word about it. I was planning on just playing dumb and saying I never received anything if they pushed but it never came to that.

Amazing. Thank you for your feedback!

Just say something subtle but politely racist. You will be added to a list though.

[–] 0 pt (edited )

Give me an example of a 'subtlety'. I like where you're going with that though!

[–] 2 pts (edited )

I had to think about it a bit but this could work.

"Yes, I would love to report to jury duty, can you let me know the jurisdiction and demographics of the area I will be a juror for? Thank you and godbless."

It will either get you off or you will have to stick it out. Anything pro left will use both of those buzzwords to immediately disqualify you.

Though, I must say, participating in the process is something that you as a citizen should do assuming that it will not cause harm or issues for you or your family.

Say they wouldn’t be charged if they hadn’t been up to something criminal. Or say cops are pigs and you’ll never vote for a conviction. If you show you can’t be objective the lawyers can remove you for cause. If you say something slightly off-color they can remove you as a peremptory challenge, but each side only gets a finite number and would rather excuse you for cause. Y
