I checked AutoZone Friday. For their Duralast brand they want about the same as the Interstate $200. Thinking about this more I'm going to take a chance on the Walmart one. As much as I hate to give them business. Even if it only lasts half the length, I'd still be getting the same money's worth out of it.
You should value your time more.
Really? I was going to pickup a side of salmon for dinner and I stopped there on the way. If only I could get those five minutes back.
I was thinking along the lines of removing the battery from the vehicle then returning the core an extra time. Also time value of money. It's going to cost more in a year when cheap battery dies. If I get same time per dollar spent (usually the case on batteries) then you'd be better spending the 200 for 2 years of service vs 100 for 1 year.
I get the duralast golds and they always bite the dust at 2.5 years, and I get them replaced under the 3 yr warranty.
