It is very interesting how the brain is divided, with each hemisphere primarily operating the opposing side of the body. Cross hemispheric structures play an important role overall. Learning to do basic tasks ambidextrously is a great hobby. Something I notice when doing physical tasks with my less dominant side is the other half does not help as much unless I study my motions and then attempt to replicate them mirrored, but it is more than just hands and arms that move to support actions.
