Perhaps you are left eye dominant. I was a marksmanship coach and instructor in the Marines. Some right handed Marines had to shoot left handed because they were left eye dominant. Of course, it worked the other way for some left handed Marines. The first thing we would do is determine eye dominance for all of the Marines in our charge. Point at something in the distance with both eyes open, then close your left eye. If your finger is still pointed at the object, you are right eye dominant. Do it again but this time close your right eye. Some people don't have a dominate eye. They can often shoot well either left or right handed or equally not so well...
Nah I'm right eye dominant and a recon marine. It's like some weird brain shit. I can't explain it.
It is very interesting how the brain is divided, with each hemisphere primarily operating the opposing side of the body.
Cross hemispheric structures play an important role overall. Learning to do basic tasks ambidextrously is a great hobby.
Something I notice when doing physical tasks with my less dominant side is the other half does not help as much unless I study my motions and then attempt to replicate them mirrored, but it is more than just hands and arms that move to support actions.
