Cross hemispheric structures play an important role overall. Learning to do basic tasks ambidextrously is a great hobby.
Something I notice when doing physical tasks with my less dominant side is the other half does not help as much unless I study my motions and then attempt to replicate them mirrored, but it is more than just hands and arms that move to support actions.
