>Hopefully they do not know your vax status. If they are asking you can tell them you cannot violate HIPPA. Be sure to record the entire conversation with a nice camera. Take photos of documents required to fill out making you state your vax status. I would consider suing with clause of no counter suit by company, employers, and anyone associated with said company. Have the lawyer take 60% if you cannot hire one.

Nope. Wrong. I did a write-up on it, here:

Here's my comment copied and pasted:

The Privacy Rule applies to "covered entities."

Those are:

"health plans, health care clearinghouses, and health care providers that conduct standard electronic transactions"

Your employer is not one of the covered entities. Neither is a business that you wish to visit. If your employer calls your doctor to ask if you're vaccinated, that's prohibited because you doctor is a Covered Entity under the privacy rule. But if you show your vaccine card to a business and your employer asks that business if you are vaccinated, that business can disclose that information and you have no recourse against that business or your employer.

I should probably post this so people on Poal do not end up getting fired because their dumbass lawyers or friends who read stupid shit on the internet, cannot be arsed to even look up the Privacy Rule in the HIPAA.

It doesn’t matter how many times you tell people that, they’re just gonna keep repeating the same thing that they think they know about HIPAA.

The right has become just as tiresome as the left.
