I wouldn't say they want to be eaten. It's just the natural way of nature. If you're made out of meat other things need to eat you in order to sustain their lives.
Fruit and vegetables likely don't want to be eaten either. It is their way of propagating. I won't look for it now but studies are starting to show that plants communicate with each other. They sense pain and react to it. Just like other living things. If science find hard facts that make that truth what the hell with vegans eat? Haha.

I think some plants do develop fruit for the sake of being eaten. Seeds survive the digestive process and the plant gets to spread further than it could otherwise.

Dude you are talking to the wrong person, I am currently not eating people as they would imprison me for it. In this day and age of obesity meat would be super easy to get. Id save a shitload on my power bill with tallow candles. We should eat the weak, not coddle them.
