I've been on a good many construction sites and have only ever seen OSHA one time and they were only there for a day. They don't have the man power to go door to door and verify vax status.
As far as weekly testing goes if I have to waste company money and time on a weekly test then fine. The last story I heard about a company doing weekly testing they they gave you a test to take home and bring back so they can't even verify you're actually taking the test! I'll take that test home every week and swab my dog's nose and send it back in.
Still going to show false positive and you get fucked. Woof!
Would be funny at least to send another one in a day later and get a negative.
The larger companies, regardless of the industry, will at some point require it for employment. You may work for a company that does not require it, but the general contractor on the job you are working wants you vaccinated -- and they demand that all sub contractors on the job-site be vaccinated.
That's the way it's trending now.
