Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I like the folks here on Poal FNTG, I'm not looking to go elsewhere, so you're stuck with me.

We're happy to have you and your many great contributions. In time, people will come and go. The thread has seen it ebb and flow since the very start. There were threads with very few comments or contributions. actually has the numbers archived.

Yup, sure enough:

12-08-17 025/163

The first number (after the date) is the number of comments. The second number is the number of views the thread had at the time he archived it.

01-26-18 014/083

(Thank's COF!) His archives are awesome.

So, we're doing just fine number-wise.

Also, I just noticed "12-24-98 404/134"... I don't know where I was on that date in 1998, but I don't think it was in the FNGT!

This is (from a quick skim) the record:

02-15-19 805/1146

It's amazing that COF tracks and archives everything, and he's an OUTSTANDING human being to boot.

The archives get used fairly often, which is great. Without him, we'd have no idea. Hell, we check the archives before recording. We've done so many things that we no longer remember what we've covered and released. So, we check to make sure we haven't already recorded it.

Thank you, Sir, I am deeply humbled.

98? That boy must be on drugs or sumthin.

I have no idea how that happened, not a clue. It's been corrected.

I think I'm going to do (have done, who am I kidding?) a DeLorean restomod.

They looked sleek, but were really anemic. They weren't sport cars, by any stretch of the imagination. Not even by 80s limited performance due to changing emissions laws were they sport cars.

I have no moral qualms about restomodding one of them. They made plenty. There are plenty in good shape. There are plenty that are originals. They're not all that special, other than aesthetically.

So, if I slap in a nice 400 to 600 HP engine, throw on some good brakes, and make sure the transmission is adequate to handle the power... 400 is low, 600 is high. So, yeah, 400 HP would be a nice output, zippy but not stupid.

This needs to be done.

LOL Well, it was a heady time.

It was around Christmas in 1998, and I have no clue what I was doing. I assume I was home with family.
