Kansas. I'm not allowed back in Kansas. Or so the cops told me.

It's a long story, but I refused to let them search my vehicle - after I'd spent like 10 days helping to clean up after a giant fucking tornado wiped out an entire town. I heard about it and went there just to help - I was already driving randomly around the country.

On my way out, I fell asleep behind a factory. The cops came, grilled me, and tried to make me let them search my car. I refused. Eventually they got tired of fucking with me they told me to leave Kansas and never come back.

I'd just sold my company and hadn't really been paid yet. I just had the shares in the now-parent company. I needed to clear my head and come to grips with things because my life had changed very drastically. So, after a week or so I hopped in a car and just started driving around the country. It was 2007. It was the year Greensburg, KS got fucked up by a giant fucking tornado.
