They also take it down to where 16 heads south in Eustis to ensure everything works. It's their test drive route. I encourage them to actually test the cars like I'd test them.
LOL They have great jobs.
Hell yeah. If they ever get too busy and you need a test driver....
LOL I think they'd be pretty bummed if I didn't have them do the test driving, though it's probably pretty stressful.
They are tasked with delivering me one of my cars in perfect condition. They're often taking a car worth a quarter million dollars out on the public roads - and can't so much as scratch it.
It's not that I'd fire them for a single scratch, but it'd look bad for them and they pride themselves in their work. In some cases, the cars are worth well over a quarter million dollars - and there are few of them on the planet. Some of them are pretty much 1 of 1, there are no other cars that compare.
Find me a 2nd 1976 Chevy Cosworth Vega with under 100 miles!
They certainly do not want to damage any of those vehicles.
So Verle is sitting on my front porch with a case of beer next to him warm as can be, it's 86 degrees and super humid with thunderstorms rolling through, I just got a alert that 1" hail and 60 mph winds are headed my way in the next 15 minutes.
After that conversation you and I had about your friend drinking his beer right from the box with no chilling of the beer I told verle to put his beer in a cooler by him, as you said you've done. He took a step further and just put the box next to him
