I'm in the process of moving all my computing to a new device. It's a pain in the ass to switch to a new computer - and I have done it the sorta-easy way. I could have just cloned the drive or moved the drive.
You have a lot of data saved in there that you need?
No, not really. It's not lots of data, it's things like settings. On any given day, I have 50 tabs open - and those tabs are all used and are opened by default.
I have a dozen email accounts, all with special settings, so I have to transfer all the settings and shit like that.
Big data isn't even stored on my devices. That's all stored to a central server (ideally, and as a general rule).
Thats what I thought, I remember you telling me that you had central storage so I was wondering why it would be a pain, but now I know
