Is anyone here fancied with wiring

Hss configuration 1 5way super switch 1 volume 500k push pull 1 250k blender pot 1 500k master tone pot 1 3 way dpdt 1 treble bleed kit

Goal

1-5 series humbucker with push-pull pot neck blended with blender

1-5 parallel humbucker with push-pull pot neck blended with blender

3way dpdt is used to split humbuck north coil neutral south coil

I understand how to hook up the push-pull and the 3way just not understanding how to properly ground everything or wire up the super switch and add treble bleed location and connect pots correctly to each other

I'm better with visuals.

I wire up a lot of guitars, though.

Generally, I wire up the harness and play music from a cell phone directly onto the pickups to test BEFORE I put them in the guitar.

This gives you an opportunity to play around with different grounding configurations for your set.

Plenty of times I understand how it should be done but the manufacturers all use different colors and sometimes sleeve the ground with other leads in the same wire for a short leg then change back to green coming out of a knob.

Directions are most often terrible.

But, the first thing I notice is that you're trying to put HHsomething in an HSS. Is one of the H's a slim H?

It is a standard Squier affinity with a standard paf humbucker. My humbucker I mess up being to rough and over heated no bigs haves one on the way. With be a lower output 7.8k 3.8h alnico 2 mag. Will be wire for series north coil parallel. As for the neck/mid combo that's NxM wiring them in phase or series parallel switching them for a hh configuration like a tele type tone in one position and a hh tele in another

The easiest part is the treble bleed apparatus.

The first consideration is the size of the humbucker. Make sure you know the size of your hole. Some humbuckers are a bit larger than others. Affinity Strats are also have notoriously shallow routs.

I've rewired a lot of Squiers, and I will tell you that they are often lacking in compartment space to fit all the wires and everything. Just take your time and be patient with it. Forcing it all in will inevitably result in earlier separations of the soldered connections.

We have a couple of examples of what you are shooting for ALMOST, as they lack the treble bleed and the 3 way dpdt.

So, I like the first picture better, since it is a bit closer to what you've got.

First, we're going to add the treble bleed to the volume knob.

Then, we will have a look at the 3 way switch.

While they aren't the same type of switch, these are, approximately the same thing and will share the same wiring.

A cleaner example.

From that information, I would posit this theoretical solution.

If ya want ill gladly send ya a copy of the diagram for future if someone ask for that type of setup hss 1 vol p/p 1tone 1blender 1 2p3t on on o configuration. By my count you get all normal pos in series and parallel then all pos using bridge in single coil then hit a switch and bring neck and mid into phase in series mode like a humbucker and boom new tone and hit pos 1 to combo with bridge for a dual humbucker style tone. Humbucker will be model of the pearly gates SD neck pickup. 7.8k 3.4h was inductance. Neck pickups are alnico 5 and 4.6k ohms. So should pair better then the original humbucker that was 12.8k and alnico5 magnet

Definitely found out fast routing was way to low lol. Used a step drill bit reamer type so 2 flute drilled put 3/8 inch then cleaned side walls and everything fit perfect. I have blender wired for b+n and b+n+m combos.. have wired in push pull for NxM combo in pos 1 and NxM+B in pos 5. Then a 3way dpdt for series parallel split coil on humbucker. Everything is wired up per a diagram I created had 3 pros double check the wiring. Humbucker needed changing so I ha e to wait for that to arrive hopefully Friday afternoon and install it in time to record a demo for Friday night guitar

Damn didn't even see this was 18 days ago so sorry . That cellphone trick I will try that before I put strings on it when new humbucker gets here hoping Friday for the guitar night

To ground it properly, you look like you're almost there.

Personally, I'd solder the ground to the center of the pots and then solder the other end to the trem/bridge, cavity shield and jack ground. This doesn't always work out the greatest, for whatever reason, so, like I said, play with it before you put it in the guitar. It should be the right answer. Sometimes you need to leave out the cavity shield, or use it in lieu of the bridge. But... I only "settle" on that if it is a cheaper guitar.

The North Finish on the Humbucker, should go into the DPDT and out of the DPDT should go into the South Finish of the humbucker. I think.

Maybe this will help:

Update I ended up just doing series parallel hb split with 3 way and with do some esle with blender and use push pull for something esle
