Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I am indeed being recognized as a Linux guru. LOL Someone's gotta do it. It might as well be me.

And, race tracks take up a ton of space. They're also costly. I bet I could do a go-kart track for not much money. But, yeah, my own track would be fucking awesome. For a 2 lane road, it used to cost about $10k per mile. I'm not sure what it'd cost now - and roads are different than tracks in most cases. There's a lot of pressure on tracks.

It really could just be a road, you don't have to have guardrails and all with it being your land just clearings at the corners where someone might run wide. But even a go kart track would be fun. I just think a real road that has no traffic or anything else that could be a hazard would be more fun cause you could take your real cars on it instead of just to carts

Oh, I wasn't counting things like runoffs or rails or other safety gear. The track itself is bound to be ungodly expensive - while taking up an absurd amount of property. Figure 3.5 miles for a track length and then realize one side should be a straight... Yeah, that's a big chunk of land.

I could probably go with regular pavement and a standard road bed. Frost heaves will mean it needs repairs regularly, but it might work.

I thought you had a big chunk of land anyways. But maybe I'm forgetting that a lot of it is already in use
