Oh, I wasn't counting things like runoffs or rails or other safety gear. The track itself is bound to be ungodly expensive - while taking up an absurd amount of property. Figure 3.5 miles for a track length and then realize one side should be a straight... Yeah, that's a big chunk of land.
I could probably go with regular pavement and a standard road bed. Frost heaves will mean it needs repairs regularly, but it might work.

No, no... I have a giant chunk of property. Dedicating 1.5 square miles to a track is still a pretty big chunk of land that I can't really use for anything else.
Yeah that is a big chunk. And I guess you wouldn't want to make it any smaller or you wouldn't be able to really zoom
