They came and took his DNA. Turns out she is only 17 and she lied and said she was older. Hopefully other friends that were here with him and her will corroborate his story and she has not got to them and convinced them to lie and corroborate her story.

I can't tell if that makes him a registered sex offender, but probably not. It's a petty crime - so long as it was consensual. So, they're not going to slap a lifetime label on 'em or anything.
