They came and took his DNA. Turns out she is only 17 and she lied and said she was older. Hopefully other friends that were here with him and her will corroborate his story and she has not got to them and convinced them to lie and corroborate her story.
Bah... What's the age of consent in WI? It's probably like 16 - plus they likely have Romeo and Juliet protections where they're just fine if he's just a few years older.
Other than his reputation, he'll be fine...

I can't tell if that makes him a registered sex offender, but probably not. It's a petty crime - so long as it was consensual. So, they're not going to slap a lifetime label on 'em or anything.
It'll look a little bad in background checks.
This is assuming there's no rape charge. Just absolutely stick to your guns. The sexual acts between us were done with consent.
That's what he told them, he's not really the kind of guy who would forcibly rape a chick.
LOL
Well, this isn't going to help...
I had a buddy, as in a solid friend - a fellow Marine - who I'd have said the same thing about. He was convicted for three rapes, all of which were pretty brutal.
He was straight laced, had a wife with kids, was gonna be a career Marine. He barely even drank, which was useful for having a designated driver. He'd have like three beers on a night out -- maybe started off with a mixed drink.
We used to tease him about how he acted more like he was in the Air Force than a Marine.
