If I ever see you approaching one of my guitars with an allen wrench, I'm gonna be REALLY mad!
On a more serious note, I just learned that Amazon has produced some pedals under their Amazon Basics name.
Basics! That's like coat hangers, towels, and batteries.
To me, that means the guitar industry is plenty healthy.
LoL i doubt I would have the need to take a wrench to any of your guitars, I imagine they all play splendid.
I wonder if those amazon pedals are their own device or if they just paid some company to put their own name on some
The pedals are actually made by NUX, a Chinese company that makes cheap guitar pedals. I've never owned their stuff. I've never even heard of them until today. I did look 'em up online and it leads me to here:

A very quick look says they don't sell straight to consumers.
And, I have guitars with personality - meaning you need to know them to play them well. Most of my guitars you can just pick up and play, but I've owned some for so long that I've simply worn them out and no amount of work will make them perfect again.
Well, any work that'd result in that would be better spent just buying a new guitar - as it'd be pretty much a new guitar. I have guitars not too far away from Nelson's guitar Trigger. (Nothing quite that bad, however.)
I've never heard of NUX before.
I do have a couple of old acoustic guitars that are unplayable and just sit in the corner as a decoration
