Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

It has rekindled my love for guitar in ways not seen elsewhere. I own every PRS custom shop guitar you can buy - and two you can't.

Yet, oddly, this strange exercise has me dwelling on guitar more than I have in a long time. It's refreshing.

maybe you'll invent a new pattern or style or tuning or arpeggio

It could happen... When I use that guitar, I pretend I'm entirely new to the guitar.

I did finally play a song on it today. Prior, I'd only just done scales, warm-up, stretching, and chord progression - like I was a new guitar player.

I played Jane Says, 'cause it seemed like a good beginner tune and I had the right sort of tone for it. It's just a two, maybe three really, chord song. It's just a G and an A - with some funny stuff on the A.

good song selection. maybe i should try doing that pick 2 scales a minor and major and do 10 mins then i actually created a warm chord progression for going to different chords. i should post that warm up its a nice sounding one and does a good job. is chord progression picking one and doing that one different ways up and down the next? and whats your stretching technique?
