maybe you'll invent a new pattern or style or tuning or arpeggio
It could happen... When I use that guitar, I pretend I'm entirely new to the guitar.
I did finally play a song on it today. Prior, I'd only just done scales, warm-up, stretching, and chord progression - like I was a new guitar player.
I played Jane Says, 'cause it seemed like a good beginner tune and I had the right sort of tone for it. It's just a two, maybe three really, chord song. It's just a G and an A - with some funny stuff on the A.
good song selection. maybe i should try doing that pick 2 scales a minor and major and do 10 mins then i actually created a warm chord progression for going to different chords. i should post that warm up its a nice sounding one and does a good job. is chord progression picking one and doing that one different ways up and down the next? and whats your stretching technique?
A good basic stretch is 1, 3, 2, 4 up the fretboard Do that up and back a few times to get started stretch follow it up with 1 3 4 5 6 (adjust) up and down the fretboard as well. It's 20 to 30 minutes worth of my practicing time.
