One of these days gonna upload something, I do guitar (chords / rhythm only) and sing. I can hit all the notes of "He Ain't Heavy" but not any higher than that.
Can hit the notes of the ending of "Bridge Over Troubled Water." Wish I could sing higher, like Paul M. on "Oh Darling." Or the ending of "Can't Live" by that Nilson guy.
I'm nuts, I do Partridge Family to country to folk to mild rock, Sinatra and Elvis, all kinds of stuff.
Absolutely! We'd love to hear it. You can do a lot with just a handful of chords and a good voice.

Friend of mine, great guitarist, in the most popular band in Houston back in the 70s.
Shot and killed himself on his birthday, cause he "was supposed to be a star by then."
SMH. An uplifting story. Not.
Most musicians are not sane people. The creative types, especially those who are obsessed enough to actually get good with their instrument, are quite frequently found with mental health issues.
I've been playing for more than five decades and performing for the overwhelming majority of it. I've played with people across this country and in many other countries. Many, many musicians have mental health issues. They're bat-shit crazy, as a general rule.
Finding the sane and stable ones is the key to having a functional band - and even then it's no guarantee - and then look at all the dysfunctional bands out there.
You have to pay, to upload to that site you mentioned?
Is it easy?
I'll have to figure out how to do it, never done it, I'm sure it's easy, I can do other stuff.
Main thing is getting it uploaded, I know I can just copy and paste after I've done that, to share it.
Thanks!
No, there are all sorts of sites to upload stuff for free.
You can record with just your cell phone - just learn to place it where it works best. This will take some trial and error.
And, you pretty much just pick an upload site - like SoundCloud or even HulkShare or even add a still image and upload it to YouTube.
