`Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

I can get the thread.

I wouldn't even want to play that Martin, what if I scratched it?

I can get the thread.

Good and thank you. This Chantix, technically generic, is fucking with my stomach. It feels like I smoked a dozen cigarettes at once.

what if I scratched it?

I suspect minor wear isn't going to impact the value much. If you legit scratch it beyond wear from playing, I suspect Martin will fix it for you free of charge - at least for a while. I've sent a few guitars back to Martin over the years - always contacting them first, and they've never charged me - even when they replaced one with a newer model (which I wasn't all that happy about).

Otherwise, any luthier on the planet would love to work on it - but you'd be wise to find the best of the best to repair it. You don't want a shitty repair job done, 'cause that'll definitely lower the value.

If you can afford to buy one of these, you can afford a repair job from the best luthier on the planet.

Hmm... If you buy two of them and smash one of them, your other one will be worth more money! (Please do not do this. No, it will not increase to 2x the value, at least not for some years.)

I am not going to buy one, and I am definitely not going to buy two of them and smash one of them!

If I get drunk and sloppy, hopefully someone will talk me out of buying one.

I'm like 99% sure that I don't want one. Well, I don't want to pay that much for one. I do kinda want it, as it'd go well in my collection. It'd suit my collection nicely. It'd also be the most expensive Martin I own, by some margin! I've got a couple that are worth a bit less than half of what one of these costs. They're great examples with a very different tone compared to a more modern example.

Speaking of expensive things...

Ferrari sucks. A couple of them still have warranty left, so I signed up and transferred the warranty to my name.

Now I get like five messages a week where Ferrari is trying to sell me shit - like shirts, hats, a steering wheel, a jacket, etc... Literally, like five days a week they send me junk asking me if I want to adorn myself in clothing covered with the Ferrari logo. While I kinda want a Ferrari baseball cap, I'll be damned if I'm going to reward them for their behavior.

I'd unsubscribe, but I'm pretty sure it's the same email list that would have things like recall and update information.
