Amusingly, my 'net cut out. There's still storm damage the phone company hasn't fixed. So, I have a satellite internet provider swinging out on Monday. We'll see how well that works. It wasn't really adequate the last time I tried.
With a satellite connection you can not avoid the latency
With Starlink there's not much latency as those satellites are only maybe 500 miles high. It's really speedy. I'm getting a different one 'cause I don't give a shit about the latency.
There's nothing I do where latency is important.

I'm not a gamer. So, latency matters only a tiny bit and it's not that bad. I'm told it's better than it used to be.
I believe it is 2 1/5 seconds delay, if you try to use for real time audio or video communications it is bad
