I have no idea how/what the engine is in this bike. It's some 3 cyl thing - cross crank something or other...

I should ask my mechanics what the hell kinda engine that is and why it's different from other engines.
I have no clue
I found the answer, I think...
It has to do with the crank shaft and piston position. They cross the plane of each other at 120° intervals - meaning the pistons fire (and move) in a way that reduces inertia (vibration). It's not only nothing all that fancy, it's how pretty much all bikes like that do it.
I think...
I watched a couple of videos and read two articles from motorcycle people.
is it kind of like a rotary engine?
Also, be polite to the cop!
Treat them like they're a herd beast - because they are. You panic one of them and you've got a herd trampling through without a care in the world. Basically, they're like cattle. Stupid and prone to panic - which leads to a stampede. You do not want them stampeding. So, speak slowly and clearly, while making no sudden movements, and most of all remain calm - even if they appear to want to be aggressive.
Seriously, I should write a book on dealing with cops.
I just got done talking to the cops. I don't know why they had to come over here. I know if someone calls 911 they are going to how up no matter what you say to them. But I called the non-emergency line.
I just learned that Verle is in the hospital. I don't know what for but Chris is going to call me when he finds out
