That sucks. You gotta report that shit or you're gonna be blamed for a crime you didn't commit. Replacement plates will be relatively cheap.

The non-emergency line at your local PD, sadly. You gotta deal with the cops.

You can try telling 'em where they register bikes in your city, but I'm pretty sure you gotta deal with the police for this one. Pretty sure...

Also, where was your bike when you noticed it had been stolen?

If it was in your driveway and you know it was attached previously (meaning you're 100% certain it didn't fall off) then aren't the only people in your driveway either your friends or your son's friends?

Did one of his friends recently get a bike?
