You really shouldnt have to measure it, you know if its good or not just by playing

The only reason I'd bother measuring would be so that I could tell you what it's set at.

For $275, you could probably add a zero and still be in the realm of similar quality - even the rougher fret ends.

The guitar from Gibson would be like $7k. This is nowhere near $6500 'worse' than the original.
