Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Yeah, it definitely should - as you may end up performing something that requires good timing or it sounds all fucked up.

A drunk audience won't notice slipped timing too bad, unless it's really bad - or unless y'all need to perform something that requires good timing, like you all stop playing and then start playing at the same time.

The drum is your back beat. It's there to keep the whole band in time. I'd have to say that drunk dancers listen more to the vocalist and drums than they do anything else. Yeah, we guitarists love our solos and riffs, but the audience is singing along and dancing to the down beat of the drummer.

(Exceptions made for very guitar-centric songs, where the guitar is also keeping time.)

I told him that he needs to lead the way, we follow him, don't follow us

Let's just hope it's not some major problem and that it improves. If not, you can try the suggestions I gave you. If that doesn't work, or they won't practice to a metronome, then you can still have a bar band. It's just not going to always be great shows. Drunks may not even notice. It won't sell CDs probably, but it might be 'good enough for drunk people'.

I would think practice can improve that
