I have not had any fret problems

I'm suspect... Especially given where you live. I suspect you've just accepted things as they are without beautifully polished frets that are all within thousands of an inch of each other in height. That's what most people do. They just accept things are the way they are.

By now, I'd be shocked if you didn't have any fret sprout. Put some pantyhose over your hands and run them along the side of your guitar - being sure to touch the frets. If it comes back completely clean, you either have perfect frets or your fretboard is larger than the frets due to swelling.

Nah, you're not the kinda guy that'd notice. You'd just accept things are they way they are and play it without complaint.

I distinctly recall the acoustic you used to play until I bitched too much!

Also, here's a fun bit of trivia...

Felons can own antique guns. You can own a muzzle-loader or even an antique pistol (before like 1895).

But, they can also own cannons. I don't just mean like 1800s cannon - I mean you could buy a cold war artillery piece capable of launching a projectile the size of a VW up to 25 miles away. Hell, they had that in WWII.

You, a felon, can own all that stuff. You can buy a motherfuckin' cannon and shoot it. Though you'd probably have to take it out of city limits to shoot it and you should make sure there's nothing down range.
