You should put it to work on the farm until he buys it back and save some wear and tear on your trucks
LOL That'd be kinda funny. I could use it to haul shit around.
I'll be surprised if I see them within the two weeks. Not too many people are going to sell their truck for more than 20k less than the value if they just put it on Craigslist and waited patiently for a few days. It's a hot market right now for used cars and trucks. They're stupidly expensive. The supply chain just isn't what it should be for new stuff. There are dealers with no new cars on their lots. Even then, they're selling the cars at more than MSRP - often quite a bit more than MSRP.
Yeah I was thinking he could probably get twice what you gave him easy if he just advertised it online
He should have been able to get 35k for it - probably in less than a week. Hell, if he put 30k on it then he'd have a dealership calling him before the end of the day.
So, I'm pretty sure I won't see him in the next couple of weeks.
They're gonna be REALLY unhappy if they call me in 15 days and want their truck back. I'd not be surprised to see/hear some complaining, but I had 'em put it in writing. I brought him 10k in crisp hundred dollar bills. He got what he asked for. If he checks back in 15 days, the price of the truck is gonna be at least 30k. I might give 'em a break and sell it to him for 25k.
A man's word is all he's really got. If he doesn't have that, he can drama queen all he wants.
